We stand behind the products we carry and want you to feel confident in every purchase.


Quick Return Policy Overview

30-day return window from delivery
14 days to ship items back after approval
Store credit only for approved returns
Food & treats accepted (must be unopened & unused)
Final sale items: kennels, grooming products, clearance items, gift cards
Customer pays return shipping (unless item is defective or incorrect)
Orders marked delivered are considered fulfilled (not eligible for refund due to theft)

Return Window

We accept return requests within 30 days of delivery (based on carrier tracking).

Once your return is approved, the item must be shipped back within 14 days of approval. Returns not shipped within that timeframe may be declined.


Store Credit

Approved returns are issued as store credit, which never expires and can be used anytime.

Store credit is issued after your return has been received and inspected.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Kennels (Ruffland Kennels & Dakota Kennels)
  • Grooming products
  • Sale or clearance items
  • Gift cards

Food & Treat Returns

We accept returns on food and treats within the 30-day window:

  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging
  • Opened or used food/treats cannot be accepted for safety and quality reasons

Starting a Return

To initiate a return, email info@performancedogsupply.com within the 30-day window.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect
  • If a return label is provided, the cost will be deducted from your store credit
  • Items must be securely packaged to prevent damage in transit

Return Conditions

  • Items must be returned in unused, original condition
  • Store credit is issued after inspection
  • Approved returns that are not shipped back will not receive credit

Damages & Order Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival.

If your item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible so we can make it right. Delayed reports may limit our ability to resolve the issue.


Exchanges

We’re happy to help with exchanges.

Once your original item is returned and approved, we’ll issue store credit so you can place a new order for the item you prefer.


Shipping, Delivery & Package Security

Once an order has been marked as delivered by the carrier, it is considered successfully fulfilled. At that point, responsibility for the package transfers to the customer.

Performance Dog Supply is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or delayed after delivery confirmation.

We strongly recommend shipping to a secure location or ensuring someone is available to receive the package.

If a package is believed to be stolen after delivery:

  • Customers should file a claim directly with the carrier
  • A police report may be required for stolen package claims

Filing a chargeback for an order that has been confirmed as delivered by the carrier may be considered a violation of this policy.


Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled prior to shipment only.

Approved cancellations will be refunded to the original payment method minus any non-refundable processing fees.


Processing Time

  • Returns are processed within 1–3 business days after delivery to us
  • Please allow 7–10 business days from the time your return is shipped for full processing
